It was developed by Activision in partnership with Redline games and published by Activision in 1994. It's the forth game in the Pitfall series. But hey, it was the first game I defeated.Pitfall: the Mayan Adventure is a side-scrolling action platformer. Again, I have no idea where this game came from. I beat this game once, maybe twice, and that was enough for me. The abilities the guy had was jumping, running, whipping and throwing projectiles that you could save throughout the game. The story was your dad got captured by a monster and you most travel the Mayan jungle, mines and temples in search for your dad. The graphics, gameplay and abilities were better than Mario during the 90s. Pitfall days were iCONIC Pitfull was a platform game that was a lot more versatile than that of Mario games. I remember quitting the game for a while then returning to afterwards defeating the game, and it felt so good that I persisted and defeated my first video game. I played Pitfall game as a single digit year old and some missions like the mine and the double Cat boss missions pissed me off, and I would rage. I once smashed my Xbox 360 controller after I failed a GTA 4 mission that's a story for another day. Yes I admit it, I rage hard when I play video games. This game let me know that I am or was a video game rager. I have no idea how I got this game, but the fact remains I had it and it was the first game I ever beat.
